RE:MAKE Newport are unbelievably proud that their volunteers have been awarded a GAVO volunteering award for outstanding volunteer activities within the environmental sector.
We would be nothing without our incredible team of volunteers and to have their achievements recognised in this way brings us such pride.
Since opening our repairers have seen over 450 items with a success rate of 78%. Items brought in have ranged from toasters to coats to sentimental china dolls (alongside a sentimental toaster)
They selflessly offer and share their skills every week for the Newport community and we are blown away daily by what they can achieve.
Alongside our repairs our volunteers run our library of things offering low cost borrows of household items, support a refill station in store and an outreach program across Newport.
We are so proud of all we have achieved and cannot thank our volunteers enough.
